Why This Program Exists

hackFront India is a national distributed innovation league. Eight Innovation Themes, regional cohorts across five cities, a national hackathon, and an outcomes pipeline that connects builders to hiring, incubation and industry adoption.

A program this wide cannot be carried by a central team alone. The builders we are looking for are sitting in lecture halls, labs and hostel rooms across the country, and the fastest way to reach them is through people who already live in those rooms.

That is what a Campus Ambassador is. You are hackFront India inside your college. Not a poster distributor. The person who finds the builders on your campus, gets them into a cohort, and pushes them until they ship something real.

This program rewards what gets built, not what gets counted. Registrations open the door. Submissions win the prize.

Who We Are Looking For

You do not need a title, a club position or a perfect resume. You need reach on your campus and the willingness to use it.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program at an Indian institution.
• Active in your campus tech ecosystem: a club, a coding group, a student chapter, a hostel WhatsApp group that actually listens to you, or simply a strong personal network.
• Comfortable talking to faculty, placement cells and student bodies without needing a script for every conversation.
• Able to commit roughly four to six hours a week through the program window.
• Genuinely interested in one or more of the eight Innovation Themes, from AI and Developer Tools to Space and Defence Tech.

One ambassador per campus is the default. Large campuses with multiple departments or more than 2,000 students may be assigned up to three ambassadors who share the territory and are ranked individually.
